Dr. Baserga addresses alumni at this year’s reunion with a talk on the history of women in medicine at Yale. This year commemorates 100 years since the Yale School of Medicine admitted its first women. Of the 3 women admitted to the Class of 2016, Dr. Baserga highlighted the extraordinary life of one of these women, Dr. Louise Farnam, as she painted a picture of a very different time for women in medicine in New England.
