Annual Cellular & Molecular Biology Training Program (CMBTP) Retreat goes off without a hitch

May 23, 2018

Another successful Cellular & Molecular Biology Training Program (CMBTP) Retreat is in the books!

We had six great presentations from our student speakers (and former CMBTP trainees!), as well as engaging and inspirational talks by our invited speakers, Drs. Sean Ryder and Susan Ackerman. Talks this year ranged in topics from RNA biology and protein degradation, to bacterial gene regulatory mechanisms and neurodegeneration.

Thank you to the student organizers, Jennifer Franzoni, and faculty advisors (Susan Baserga, Tony Koleske, and John Carlson) for all of their hard work in putting together this great day of science, intellectual discussion, and camraderie.
