Congratulations to Katie Farley! Today she was awarded the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (F31) from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Her proposal is titled “PAX9, RIBOSOME BIOGENESIS, AND CONGENITAL DISEASE,” which seeks to better understand PAX9’s role in ribosome biogenesis and its link to defects in tooth and craniofactial development.
