Lisa represented the Baserga lab at the 11th International Conference on Ribosome Synthesis in Orford, Canada. Lisa not only gave the first talk of the entire conference in the session titled “Nucleolar organization and dynamics,” but she also presented a poster at the two evening poster sessions.
In addition to sharing her research and the research of the Baserga lab, she climbed Mount Orford, met former Baserga lab members, and found a boutique chocolate shop to bring chocolate back for the lab (a Baserga lab tradition).
