Welcome Maya Overton! Although she has been working in the lab part-time since Fall 2017, today she has joined us full-time for the summer.
Maya is an undergrad in the Departments of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and Economics, and will help us to elucidate mechanisms underlying the nucleolar stress response in higher eukaryotes, including human cell lines and the model organism Xenopus tropicalis.
