Susan presents at the 100 Years of Women at the Yale School of Medicine

Susan J. Baserga, M.D., Ph.D., presents at the 100 Years of Women at the Yale School of Medicine Symposium. As a graduate of the Yale M.D./Ph.D. program in 1988, in her talk she reflects on the early years of coeducation at the Yale School of Medicine, and left us with a take-home message on what it is like for women, still, at Yale today:

“One hundred years later, it is still difficult for women professors at Yale to receive credit, acknowledgement, and respect for the work they do.

When in doubt, be scholarly. And kind.”
