Lisa attended the Keystone Symposia on Advances in Neurodegenerative Disease Research and Therapy in Keystone, Colorado to learn more about neurodegernative disease and Alzheimer’s. She not only presented a poster on her research at the poster session, but also met future potential collaborators to study the intersection of ribosome biogenesis and neurodegeneration.
During the afternoon breaks, she spent her time hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado, including Dercum Mountain in Keystone, and Mount Sniktau near Loveland Pass.
